Absolute Love(?) Camera: Voigtlander Bessa R3A Lens: Nokton 40mm f1.4 S.C Film: Ilford Delta 400 developed in HC-110 dilution b @ 7:30 (60/10) First street picture I’ve posted in a while. This was taken on Changkat BB, while Lynn and I were walking out for lunch. I do miss being able just to walk around with all the time in the world just to shoot, but work has been tight. I find myself shooting for work more than anything. Thank goodness I have my gigs to shoot, that’s keeping me creative at least.

First try with the fade to black polaroid film. Turns out this film fades all the way to darkness if you dont cut the back open and split the emulsion side from the other bit to stop developing. Very fun film… When I get the money, i’ll defo do it again!

Testing one of Garys lenses during the rainy lomotion outing. It took some getting used to, composing through the external viewfinder and such, as well as the 15/4.5 LTM is not RF coupled so everything is scale focused. To be honest, now I know that with a lens this wide, why on earth would you need it to be? At f8 or f11 you can just hyperfocus to infinity and more or less everything will be in focus! This is a lens I am actually considering as a super wide, after testing it out, It’s definitely on my list.

Lens test with Garys 50/2 Hexanon M. This is the lens that i’m looking out for and probably the next to get. I like the small nature of this lens, not to mention the price in comparison with a 50 cron v3 or v4! Great budget lens for my kit, now just to find someone who is selling one for cheap as well as find the money =)

This was shot as a test for the lens at Keat photo on Jalan Pudu. The focusing ring was a little stiff, and I was a little off focus, but despite that, the quality difference between my lens and the 50cron is all too evident. Looks like I’m skipping the Hexanon 50 and going for a v3 or v4. Maybe by mid year i’ll have cash to get one. Thank you @arienvalo for being a cute model despite being distracted by the medium format goodness all around!

I had the urge to shoot medium format one day so I bought a roll of TMAX 100, a far cry from my regular Tri X and Deltas. To be honest, I had the hardest time without a lightmeter and an even harder time shooting at lower shutter speeds come evening. Harder still, it took me about 20mins to spool the damn thing. Most of my other pics have stressmarks and scratches! LOL! I had fun shooting with the lubitel but maybe next time I should bring a lightmeter =)
