One day I will dine in the one of the famous dining rooms of Per Se, Le Bernardin, The French Laundry, El Bulli, Alinea, Arzak, St Johns, The Fat Duck, Mugaritz, Iggy’s (Hooray for local talent) or WD-50; Where I will obediently experience a 5-hour tasting menu at a Chef’s table watching a truly exceptional brigade tell a story, their story, of how food is meant to be cooked, loved and tasted.
One day I will enjoy unpretentious, rustic, unadulterated food which inspired every Chef to pursue their dreams and passions of cooking. To savour the flavours that can bring any Chef to tears, and any gourmand to a wonderland of sensory orgasm.
One day I will do all of these things, hand in hand, sitting across a white linen table from you.

I feel like a bit of a sellout posting this. I haven’t shot film in ages. I haven’t had the time just to walk about and shoot street. Fuck, I can’t even remember what it is to shoot street. I hope things change when I get my Bessa back. IF I get my Bessa back.
To all my photographer friends who like taking street, this one’s for you.
Camera: Sony NEX-3 on Aperture Priority Mode. Minimal edits in Lightroom 3
Location: Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur
Absolute Love(?) Camera: Voigtlander Bessa R3A Lens: Nokton 40mm f1.4 S.C Film: Ilford Delta 400 developed in HC-110 dilution b @ 7:30 (60/10) First street picture I’ve posted in a while. This was taken on Changkat BB, while Lynn and I were walking out for lunch. I do miss being able just to walk around with all the time in the world just to shoot, but work has been tight. I find myself shooting for work more than anything. Thank goodness I have my gigs to shoot, that’s keeping me creative at least.
Twilight long exposure at Avillion PD
Nikon D40x + 18-55 kit
f8, 30s, ISO 100
This is just one of the pictures I took on my recent work trip to Avillion Port Dickson. I was bored after a massage and decided to take some long exposure shots. With the lack of a tripod, I had to rely on flat surfaces to take from, hence the poor composition. Editing the rest, but don’t think there are many worth posting. Minimal post processing done, WB and levels mostly.
Stitch me trishaw. Instax on a rainy dreary day.
Always a fan of your instax stuff =)
Flowers Faded Not To Black
Polaroid SX-70
Polaroid Artistic TZ Fade To Black
First try with the fade to black polaroid film. Turns out this film fades all the way to darkness if you dont cut the back open and split the emulsion side from the other bit to stop developing. Very fun film… When I get the money, i’ll defo do it again!
Lens test - Damn it’s wide!
Voigtlander Bessa R3A / Voigtlander Super-Wide Heliar 15mm f4.5 LTM
Kodak Tri X 400 processed in Kodak HC-110 dilution B @ 6.5mins standard agitation (10s/60s)
Testing one of Garys lenses during the rainy lomotion outing. It took some getting used to, composing through the external viewfinder and such, as well as the 15/4.5 LTM is not RF coupled so everything is scale focused. To be honest, now I know that with a lens this wide, why on earth would you need it to be? At f8 or f11 you can just hyperfocus to infinity and more or less everything will be in focus! This is a lens I am actually considering as a super wide, after testing it out, It’s definitely on my list.
